Different Types of mushrooms
While many spiecies of mushroom grow in the wild, these are expensive, so people are cultivating the mushrooms at home. Common species of mushroom which can be grown at home are
1. Button mushroom
2. Milky white mushroom
3. Paddy straw mushroom
4. Oyster mushroom
5. Shiitake

The oyster mushrooms can subdivided into 3 categories
1.Pleurotus sajor caju - grey
2. Pleurotus ostreatus - black
3.Pleurotus florida - white

Edible Mushrooms are also found in the wild in the monsoon in many forest areas, and these are usually more expensive.
